Takuu is a tiny island in Polynesia that is in danger from the rising sea level. The film portrays the struggle of its inhabitants for their culture and their very existence as they experience the destructive effects of climate change firsthand. The three protagonists Teloo, Endar, and Satty offer a glimpse into their lives and culture.
