This lecture is part of the Sustainability Lecture Series hosted by the Rachel Carson Center and Munich Area Universities and Colleges.

Sustainability is an umbrella term that integrates long-term thinking, morally responsible actions, and future-oriented innovation into all areas of human activity. From 20-22 June 2012 the conference Rio+20 will take place in Brazil. This lecture series seeks to strengthen awareness about sustainability.

The event is free and open to the public. The lecture will be held in German.

Vorlesungsreihe Nachhaltigkeit: Hoffnung, Handlung, Wandlung

Veranstalter: Rachel Carson Center und Münchner Volkshochschulen

Nachhaltigkeit ist ein Dachbegriff, in dem sich langfristiges Denken, wertebasiertes Handeln und zukunftsfähige Innovation für alle Bereiche menschlichen Handelns integrieren. Vom 20-22. Juni 2012 findet in Brasilien die Konferenz Rio+20 statt. Mit dieser Vorlesungsreihe der Münchner Hochschulen soll die Aufmerksamkeit für das Thema Nachhaltigkeit verstärkt werden.

Die Veranstaltung ist kostenlos und öffentlich, und wird auf Deutsch gehalten werden.
