Second Screening + Discussion: 'Food, Inc.'

Location: Rachel Carson Center, Leopoldstr. 11, 4th floor

Due to popular demand, we will be offering a second screening of the film, Food, Inc. Please note that this screening will take place at the RCC and not at Gasteig.

Food, Inc. reveals how a handful of US food corporations determine what America eats, what farmers grow, how livestock are kept, and how the environment is impacted. Interviews with experts uncover shocking trends, but also point out potential remedies.

We will be offering light refreshments;a discussion in German led by Dr. Karl von Koerber from Technical University Munich will follow the screening.

Free and open to the public.

 

About Green Visions Film Series

The Green Visions film series presents environmental documentaries from around the world, including discussions with directors, environmental experts, or film critics.

The series is a cooperation between the the RCC, ECOMOVE International, the Ökologisches Bildungszentrum, and the Münchner Volkshochschule. It is curated by former Carson Fellow and RCC Affiliate Alexa Weik von Mossner.
