This workshop offers a platform for candid debates on the situation of environmental ethics. How has the interdisciplinary discussion around this topic developed in recent years? In what ways should the questions be rethought, and what should the agenda for the coming years look like? And is the future of environmental ethics more likely to remain a specific discipline or is there a way to (re)establish it as a leading and overarching theme in ecological debates? This workshop will connect thematic and methodological-theoretical perspectives and also offers the opportunity to reflect on the geographic framework and historical context of current debates. Multidisciplinary participants as well as those who do not categorize themselves as environmental ethicists are particularly encouraged to apply.

The event is free and open to the public. However, please note that the event will take place in German.
