The Society for History of Technology (Gesellschaft für Technikgeschichte, GTG) holds its twenty-first annual meeting in collaboration with the Rachel Carson Center at the Kerschensteiner Kolleg of the Deutsches Museum in Munich from 18 – 19 May 2012. The theme of the conference will be “Entanglements: Natural Catastrophes and Technical Breakdowns in Modern Societies” (Verflechtungen: Naturkatastrophen und Technikversagen in modernen Gesellschaften).
